Virtual ToursWe are a small lakefront resort just 5 minutes west of world famous Algonquin Park open during Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Catering to adults, seeking a quiet, tranquil and peaceful stay, all rooms have hairdryers, televisions, airconditioning, and are strictly non-smoking.

click to enlargeROOMS 1 TO 4 are the only rooms without a view of the lake. They are carpeted, air conditioned, furnished in pine and have one queensize bed (occupancy is no more than two). The ensuite bathrooms feature one-piece bathtubs with showers, vanity and toilet.

click to enlargeSUITE 5 is a large anniversary/honeymoon suite. It has satellite TV/VCR/DVD, gas fireplace, air conditioning, a beautiful view of the lake, complete with screened-in waterfront balcony and private deck. This suite has a king size bed and two person whirlpool tub.

SUITE 7 is a lovely, waterfront anniversary suite. This unit has a king size bed, a two person whirlpool tub, gas fireplace, wing chairs, air conditioning and satellite TV/DVD. It is on the ground floor and extends a view of the lake from a screened-in porch and cedar sun deck.

SUITE 8 is a cosy waterfront suite on the lower level with a screened-in porch and sun deck, a fieldstone wall, gas fireplace, queensize bed, air conditioning and satellite TV/DVD. The bathroom features a 'showerlux' shower stall, pedestal sink and toilet.

SUITE 9 is a large waterfront suite, recently renovated, with ensuite bathroom, queen size bed, sofa with coffee table, two person corner whirlpool tub, air conditioning and satellite TV/DVD.

ROOMS 10, 11 AND 12 are bright and comfortable waterfront rooms with four piece bathrooms. They have one queen size bed, satellite TV and French doors to the patio offering a lovely view of the lake.

ROOMS 13 AND 14 are large, waterfront rooms with two queen size beds. They offer new four piece bathrooms, air conditioning and satellite TV. These rooms are designed for people who wish space and comfort.

SUITE 15 is recently renovated to a suite with a 4 piece ensuite bathroom, queensize bed, corner two person whirlpool tub and sofa, air conditioning and satellite TV/DVD. Patio doors offer a terrific view of the lake. Occupancy is now a maximum of two. Peak season rate is $ 169.50, low season rate is $ 149.50 per room per night.

SUITE 16 Recently renovated, bright and sunny lakefront suite with queensize bed, corner two person whirlpool tub, log effect gas fireplace, air conditioning and satellite TV/DVD. Perfect for a romantic get away. Peak season rate is $ 179.50 low season rate is $ 159.50.

SUITE 17 (non-waterfront)
Non-waterfront suite with corner 2 person whirlpool tub. Living room. Bedroom with queensize bed and four piece ensuite.

All prices quoted are in Canadian Dollars and do not include 5% room tax (PST) and 6% GST or gratuities. A credit card number (Visa or MasterCard) is required to guarantee your reservation. Our policy is that we require at least 14 days notice of cancellation prior to arrival date for a refund less $30 administration fee. Less than 2 weeks notice, your deposit of your first night stay will not be refunded.

We have a casual, licensed, resort-style dining room that serves a la carte breakfasts and evening meals, from 8.00 am - 10. 30 am and 5.30 pm - 8pm respectively. Dinner reservations are recommended.

During the summer canoes, and kayaks are complimentary to our guests.

This area provides breathtaking scenery for the naturalist and photographer. Oxtongue Lake also provides the perfect setting for the canoeing enthusiast. Miles of hiking trails and activities are available in Algonquin Park during summer and fall, and winter time provides snow for cross country skiing and snow shoeing as well as groomed trails nearby for the snowmobiler.

  • For safety and insurance reasons, cooking or open flames (which includes candles are not allowed on the property. This rule is strictly enforced.
  • To ensure that all of guests enjoy a quiet stay we shut off the whirlpool tubs at 10:00 p.m.
  • Out of consideration for our guests with allergies, we do not accept pets. Boarding kennels are nearby.

We are located just 2 1/2 hours north of Toronto and 3 1/2 hours west of Ottawa. We are a 25-minute drive from Huntsville on Highway #60 (at the Oxtongue Lake Bridge) and 5 minutes from Algonquin Park's west gate.

Check in times for all rooms are after 3:00 p.m. Check out time is 10:00 a.m.
